REGISTER
To
participate you must be Registered in the ShortTrackin.com system. One
registration covers all competitions. Your information is kept confidential, and is
not shared, rented or sold.
Email
Address Must Be Valid.
If at anytime
email is returned due to a faulty address, your registration will be subject to removal,
and you will be removed from all competitions entered.
The
same email address can be used for multiple entries.
Prize
Eligibility
Providing
a mailing address is not
required to participate but does help make it easier when it is time to
distribute prizes. All prizes must be claimed prior to December 31st of the
competition year. If you have not provided a mailing address during registration
and have won a prize we will make two attempts to contact you for that information.
You will forfeit the prize if you have not contacted us with mailing information by
December 31st of the competition year.
LOGIN
- SELECT DRIVERS
Login
with your Username and Password and Select a Team of Drivers. If you are entered in
more than one competition you will be required to Login separately for each of them. (Sorry, that
is a technical challenge I just haven’t dove into at this time) Driver groups are created using a variety of
information. There is no guarantee that a driver listed will be attending the
scheduled event. You will be selecting at your own risk.TRADING
Trading will open as soon as official contest results of the most recent event(s) have
been posted.
The Trade Deadline is 5am
EST
on the day of the event being scored,
unless
otherwise posted.
Once the designated trade deadline has passed, all Players Teams for the next scored
event(s) will be posted. Technical issues may delay the close of trading, and the posting
of Players Teams. Trades made during such delay will still be accepted unless the
technical issues have not been resolved prior to the start of the event in which case the
event will not be scored.
The Posting of Players Teams Signifies the Absolute
Closure of Trading. There are no changes
to teams allowed except in the case of a technical issue on the ShortTrackin.com end, at
which point all players will be notified of the issue and of the corrective action.
NASCAR: Race
and contest results will be posted the day following the event being scored, unless there
is an issue that may lead to a realignment of the finish.
In this case, the contest results will not be posted until official results have been
released by Nascar.
WoO’s and USAC: Driver selections will be used for a weeks
scheduled events, or more simply, the events listed on the main page, unless noted
otherwise. A race week is considered to be
Monday through Sunday. Example: There may be a race on Thu, Fri, and Sat
at different venues, but your same 5 driver team will be used for all three events. Contest results will be posted once official
results have been released. Trading will open
once the final event of the week has been scored.
DRIVER
GROUP REALIGNMENTS
We will try to limit driver group realignments to the beginning of the segments for the WoO and Nascar
competitions. But, drivers may need to be
re-aligned in all competitions during the season due to performance issues, or
replacements. When this occurs, players will be notified, and your team must be
adjusted to reflect the current Driver Groups. Any driver out of position after a
realignment will be scored with zero (0) points until the issue is rectified.
Adequate warning will be given to all participants. Keeping your email address
updated is critical.
SCORING
NOT
ALL
sanction scheduled races are scored, so keep an eye on the Pick Five Schedule vs. the
Track/Sanction Schedule. Drivers will earn the following points based on their
finish in the "A" Feature. Top 30 Positions Posted for Short Track Events

TIE
BREAKER
(1)
In the case of a tie score, when a prize is involved, the tie will be broken by
using the finishing position of the drivers in the order of groups. Example:
Players #1 and #2 have the same drivers in Groups A and B, but not C.
Player #1's Group C driver finishes 6th and Player #2's Group C driver
finishes 24th. Player #1 wins the tie breaker.
(2) If that doesn't break the tie, other options will be presented to those tied.
